Lost melodies part 5

The old hindi film song stands like a monument on the shore weathered by the winds of time and the gentle caresses of the waves, to be admired across generations. And there are many such monuments along an endless musical shoreline built by a legion of architects, engineers and craftsmen who valiantly worked with their age old tools creating priceless works of art each unique in shape, form and style to create a rich heritage of that golden era of the music.

Two of the above songs, one from film Chakori and the other one from Chand were very popular in their time. Do Dilon Ko Yeh Duniy is a double song and I hope you will be able to find the other half soon.

Thank you very much for the song Do Dilon ki yeh duniya . I’ve always wanted to listen to songs from Films Chand and Ziddi. I wasn’t even existed when those films were shown in Viti(Fiji) . My father had the brochures of those films written in English, Hindi, Urdu and Gujerati with the pictures and song lyrics
